A nice sundowner trailer pulled up outside the barn. A young man stepped out of the passenger's seat. Wearing a cowboy hat and his boots he looked around the place. It was nice he had to admit. Georgia didn't have nice english stables unless they were in or near the city. He smiled as he heard a nicker from the trailer. Im coming boy I promise he said walking to the back of the trailer. From the other side of the trailer an older man stepped around, the man looked just like Mason but he was older. Well son, I think this place will be alright the older man said. As long as Sammy likes it we'll be good mason said before letting the trailer door down. A buckskin head turned toward him and a nicker was a greeting that mason was use to. Lets get you out of here boy mason backed the horse down out of the trailer. The quarter horse's ears pricked as he took in the site of the new place/ He was always a looker, man and he still sure is his dad said. mason smiled as he petted the muscular buckskin. mason than lead him into the barn and found the stall that he had fixed up earlier for the stallion. He lead the horse in and unclipped the lead line. Make yourself at home boy mason smiled as he watched the big stallion play in his fresh bucket of water. he'll settle in just fine his dad said. I know mason said closing the stall door behind him. the buckskin came over and hung his head over the stall and nuzzled mason. Well son, I see no problem with ya'll settling in, I need to get back to the ranch so I better get there. Call me soon his dad said before he loaded back into the truck and left mason. Well boy it's just you and me right now he said.

"Roxy, honey? We're here." Ashlee said shaking her daughter slightly. After seeing Roxy stretch and look up Ashlee fixed her eyes on the long driveway ahead of here. Carefully maneuvering the two horse trailer up to the big barn. Ashlee gets out of the truck to lower the ramp while Roxy grabs the blue and green lead rope off the seat next to her. Opening the door on the side of the trailer she waits for her adoptive mother to lower the ramp completely before backing her prized horse out of the dark trailer. "Its okay Spook" Roxy coos while clipping the lead rope to the matching halter. Slowly she backs him out. Once out Spook sniffs the air and announces his arrival. "I'll look for his stall while you let him stretch his legs." Ashlee says carrying their blue and green grooming kit into the dimly lit stable. "C'mon boy, lets go explore." After about 20 minutes of walking her beautiful horse around the stable yard she heads toward the barn. "Mom?" "In here Roxy." She calls from the end of the barn. Leading Spook in the stall and letting him off the lead she follows her mom out to the truck to get their huge blue and green tack trunk. Hauling it inside they drop it off at the stall and head up to the house to see about room arrangements.

The black truck rolled up the driveway, trailer in tow. Fawn stretched in the passenger seat, wincing as her joints popped. It had been a long drive from South Florida to Georgia, but they had made it.
As Fawn's mom parked the car, she hopped out of the truck and grabbed Lilly's lead rope out of the trailer's tack room. Lilly would probably enjoy getting out to stretch her legs too.
Fawn unloaded her sleek black mare from the trailer, stroking her fondly. Her mom followed as she led the mare to the barn to put her in her new stall at Never Back Down Stables.

Mason watched as a trailer pulled up and a girl jumped out the passengers seat. He watches as a white thoroughbred is unloaded out of the trailer. The horse was beautiful and definitely caught his eye and sure eyes of judges too. The girl entered the stable as it looked like her mother took the horse out to the paddock. Mason turned to greet the girl but she was in and out in just a minute, He'd introduce himself later.
Not long after the daughter and mother was off he was guessing to the house another truck and trailer pulled up. This time when the trailer ramp was down a black looking thoroughbred was unloaded. He turned to Sammy Buddy looks like you'll be the only Quarter horse for the time being mason said laughing. He than turned and nodded to the girl. Hi, My names Mason, Nice looking horse you got there He said trying to be polite. Sammy snorted and sent out a shrilling neigh. Don't mind him, He's the jealous type Mason laughed before turning back to Sammy.

Fawn smiled at the boy. "I'm Fawn, and this is Lilly."
She stood on her toes to peek into the stall Mason was standing by. "Is that your horse? He's cute. Quarter horse?" Without waiting for him to respond, she continued. "I used to ride a Quarter horse, a long time ago. I learned to jump on her, back in the local shows at my old town."
She turned and patted Lilly on the neck. "I'm sorry, girl, did I forget about you? Let's get you into a stall."
She led her mare into a stall and slipped her halter off. Lilly lowered her head and snorted at some of the shaving before deciding it was satisfactory and taking a drink of water out of the water bucket. Fawn smiled, then leaned forward and whispered into her horse's ears, "Do you like it, girl? Good. Let's not mess it up."

Mark sighed, twisting the end of the lead rope around on hand and then letting it go. His mother had refused to go any further than the opening of the driveway to Never Back Down with the trailer, forcing him to tack up his mare and burden her with all the equipment, then walk to the ranch proper. The mare had taken it well, not a sign of displeasure in her body. Mark paused for a moment, looking up from under the brim of his hat. It was a nice place, the sort of place he could learn more about himself and his horse.
He finished the walk to the barn, leading Voi to a stall with their names on a whiteboard hanging on the door. The ex-model sighed and tied the mare to a ring, starting to take off the bundle of blankets and leg wraps affixed to the back of the saddle. He had asked for a couple plastic bins to be placed in front of the stall, and he dumped the cloth into on of them. The other was filled with the grooming kit, treats, supplements and other such things, as well as his spare set of boots. His father would bring his clothes and such once he got the flat tire he had acquired on the drive over from Colorado fixed.
Mark filled a haynet, attaching it to the same ring that his horse was tied to, letting her eat while he prepared the stall. He did it quickly and efficiently. Once he was done, he moved the haynet to a back corner of the large stall, then the bay mare. Mark took off her halter and ran his hand up and down each leg after taking off her shipping wraps, checking for bruising.
Finding none, he straightened and glanced at his watch. He still had a while before his dad was due, so the brunette took the tack he had left in front of the stall and placed his saddle on a rack he had brought, cleaning it off meticulously.
The entire time he had ignored everyone else in the barn, as was normal for him. He whistled softly, listening to his horse move around her stall as she settled in at their new home.

Fawn stepped out of Lilly's stall and with a start noticed another new guy. She hadn't heard him come in.
"Hi!" she said warmly, stepping forward. "I'm Fawn. That's a pretty horse you have there."
It was a pretty horse, truthfully. It sat munching hay out of a hay net. She watched it for a moment before she turned and walked back over to Lilly's stall. She pulled a carrot out of her pocket, broke it in half, and gave half to Lilly.
She turned back to the other boy. "Would you like to give your horse some?" she asked, holding out the other half of the carrot.
